About Tassili Airlines
Established in 1998 by Air Algérie and the Sonatrach company, both of which are government-owned, Tassili Airlines became wholly owned by Sonatrach when Air Algerie withdrew its contracts in 2005. Since then, Tassili Airlines has shifted its focus mainly on offering charter flights. In 2014, Tassili Airlines became a member of AFRAA, and began expanding its regional and international routes.
Primary Hub
The primary hub of Tassili Airlines is the Houari Boumediene Airport. The airport is also known as Algiers International Airport. It has 2 runways and 3 terminal buildings and Tassili Airlines flies from all three terminals. Domestic flights operate from the first terminal, Charter flights from the second terminal, and all international flights from the fourth.
