Lufthansa Airlines Booking Classes

Lufthansa Airlines booking is available for four different travel classes:

First class- Passengers with confirmed booking for first class can relax with world class in-flight facilities in fully flat, two-meter-long bed along with a private cabin like space. The ergonomic comfort adjusts to your needs by using the intuitive controls. The full flat bed comes with a comfortable mattress topper and a temperature regulating duvet.

Business class - Passengers with confirmed booking for business class can relax on their fully flat, two-meter-long bed. The ergonomic comfort adjusts to your needs by using the intuitive controls. The full flat bed comes with a comfortable mattress topper and a temperature regulating duvet.

Premium economy class - Sit comfortably in premium economy class which offers plenty of space in all directions, a generous amount of seat pitch, and numerous other fine arrangements that will make your leisure or business trip even more enjoyable.

Economy class - Passengers can relax on their comfortable leather seats in economy class. On short and medium-haul routes, passengers can enjoy enough spacious leg room to to stretch your legs.

On long-haul Lufthansa flights, a seat cushion width of over 40 cm, as well as the individually adjustable headrests on every seat will increase your comfort.

Lufthansa Airlines Check In

Lufthansa online check in opens 48 hours before scheduled flight departure and closes just 90 minutes prior to flight departs. However, Lufthansa online check in service is available at limited airports only.

STEP 1: Enter Frequent Flyer Card/Lufthansa Booking reference number/ Lufthansa Ticket number/Lufthansa Vollcharter

STEP 2: Select if you have frequent flyer card, card number (if you have), and the last name on card.

STEP 3: Print your boarding pass and your Lufthansa online check in is done.

For airport check in, guests should arrive at least 3 hours before for international Lufthansa flight booking and 2 hours before for domestic booking.

Lufthansa Flight Status Updates

Passengers with confirmed Lufthansa flight booking can check their booked Lufthansa flight status update with ease by just entering the flight number or flight route.

Lufthansa Baggage Allowance

Lufthansa baggage allowance differs as per booked travel class.

Lufthansa baggage allowance for check in is:

• Economy class – 1 baggage up to 23 kgs

• Premium Economy class – 2 baggages up to 23 kgs

• Business class – 2 baggages up to 32 kgs

• First class – 3 baggages up to 32 kgs

Lufthansa Baggage Allowance policy doesn’t allow to carry the below listed items:

• Samsung Galaxy Note7

• Compressed gasses (flammable, non-flammable and poisonous) such as aerosols, camping gas Explosives, ammunitions, fireworks and flares

• Lighter, matches, paints, thinner

• Irritants

• Knives, daggers, swords, etc.

• Oxidizing material like bleaching powder

• Radioactive material

Lufthansa Airlines Food & Drinks

Every individual Lufthansa flight ticket comes with a complimentary meal. The airline has their own catering and the same food is served on all flights. Lufthansa meals are all Halal as per Islamic dietary requirement.

There are special meals too which cater to certain food requirements like you can order the diabetic meal or the Hindu meal. There is Kosher, Reduced Fat and Salt, Seafood, Infant, and complete Vegetarian meal too. These special meals can be ordered 24 hours before the scheduled flight departure time.
