MASwings was launched in the year 1997. With a fleet size of 177 latest-generation aircrafts, MASwings has flown in a total number of 10.6 million passengers. The airline has grabbed 2 major awards from each Borneo states, which are the "Minister’s Special Award" from the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment of Sabah presented during the Sabah Tourism Award 2013 and the "Outstanding Transport Contribution to Tourism Award" in the Sarawak Hornbill Tourism Award 2013.

MASwings Baggage Allowance

MASwings Airline permits free checked baggage weight of 30 kgs (66lbs) in business class and 20kgs (44lbs) in economy class per individual. You can carry 2 pieces of hand baggage each of 5 Kgs while travelling in business class and 1 piece in economy class. A charge per kilogram will apply for excess baggage.
